Q: What media players do you use for streaming & what formats do you use..
A: We use Quicktime & Adobe Flash Player. Formats that we currently use are as follows, .MP4 .MOV .M4A .M4V .3GP .SWF .FLV for our media files.
Q: Should I be using the most current Players available from Quicktime & Adobe Flash Player.
A: Yes you should be running the latest version of their players so that you do not run into issues with our players.
Q: What do you use to create your videos or record your screen.
A: I use several tools at my disposal, Which I will name a few, provide the prices & site links where to purchase them if you want. To record my screen captures I use one of three programs they are iShowU $20.00, Screenium $20.00, & ScreenFlow $99.99 all of which are great screen recorders. Also I use Mousepose 3 $16.95 for some really cool mouse tricks. Now to compress my videos to .mp4 format for Web Streaming I will at times use VisualHub $23.32 or If I make them for Web-iPhone-Cell Phone streaming I will use Quicktime Pro $29.99. I also use iMovie 08 which is part of the iLife suite to make some of my videos as well. All my videos are done on a MAC even when I do video tutorials for Windows & Linux.
